College Football recruiting ratings are in the eye of the beholder. The beholder is the coaching staff of the university; only the coach and his staff know what they want in skill, character, passion for the game, and other criteria that they may have established. However, as fans, we enjoy following it, and we know that the top players usually produce the top teams.

Since we do not have the means to properly evaluate recruits, we will do a computation of six recruiting services to select the top 65 players. Utilizing this top 65 blue-blood prospect list, we project a top 10 recruiting class. To help us keep all of this in perspective, remember Brett Favre and Drew Brees did make the top recruiting list when they came out of high school.

After National Signing Day, we will publish a final top 10 recruiting class.

We are using the following recruiting sites for our computation: ESPN. Scouts, Rivals, 247, Max-sports and Tom Lemming.
